Artist rendering of proposed Multipurpose building
Summer Construction Underway
Perimeter fencing is up and shovels are in the ground as preparatory work gets underway for the new Multipurpose Building, adjacent to the Science building. When completed in early 2008, the new structure will add approximately 4,000 sq. m. (43,000 sq. ft.) of academic office, research and teaching space.

Truckloads of concrete spans arrived on campus Wednesday morning as a cover was pieced together and installed on the new water reservoir, located at the north end of campus, servicing UBC Okanagan's new residences.

Through the generosity of the Government of Japan, these delegates will join young leaders from every continent to participate in the 19th journey of the most original and exciting cross-cultural exchange ever conceived. The search is now on to find the team that will represent Canada in this prestigious, UN-supported, cruise-based youth program.
