First-Year Classes Cancelled September 5
Create 2006 events for first-year students will take the place of classes that day. All first-year classes have been cancelled for Tuesday, September 5.
Showcase
Everyone is welcome to participate in the Showcase on the afternoon of September 5. A recently circulated global e-mail invited everyone in the UBC Okanagan community to host a booth at the event.
Applications must be received at the Create office by August 23 and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. For those not hosting a booth, please stop by the central courtyard on September 5 and see what UBC Okanagan and the greater community has to offer!
Live@UBC: UBC's Central Source for Campus Events
Members of the UBC Okanagan community are invited to use Live@UBC, an online database that allows users to find out about events on a daily, weekly, or even on a monthly basis. Users can also search by date or event type.
This service is easy for event coordinators to sign up and use online. Once events are in the database, they are accessible at any time.

Campus Life Calendar
Your event can be advertised on the Campus Life Calendar -- just submit it, at least one week in advance, to Campus Life Coordinator Leanne Perry. Please include the event's date, time, title, location and a contact name and number.
A brief description of the event is also welcome, as are submissions from students, staff, faculty, committees, course unions and clubs. The Campus Life Calendar will be updated frequently -- visit often!
