Next phase of John Hindle Drive to move forward

$11.6 million in joint funding announced

On November 10, the Government of Canada, the Province of BC and the City of Kelowna announced $11.6 million in joint funding for the final phase of the John Hindle Drive extension project, allowing another option for students, staff and visitors en route to UBC Okanagan.

Transgender Day of Remembrance

The Transgender Day of Remembrance is observed in late November in recognition of the 1998 murder of Rita Hester. Rita was a highly visible member of the transgender community in Boston, where she worked locally on education around transgender issues.

FASmail file attachment blocking on
internal emails

Suspicious file blocking has now been expanded to include messages being sent between FASmail accounts. This was done to reduce the risk of FASmail users inadvertently sending infected messages internally within the University.
